Nice to meet you!!

I am Krupa and I graduated from my master's degree in USer Experience at Arizona State University. Originally from India, I embarked on my journey into the world of design through a bachelor's degree in Architecture. While I briefly worked as an architect, it was during this time that I cultivated my interest in the field of user experience design.

Drawing upon my strong background, transitioning into UX design felt seamless. Every aspect of the journey felt like a natural progression, with each experience adding depth and breadth to my skills. From shaping physical spaces to crafting digital experiences, I've found that the essence of design remains constant - a blend of creativity, functionality, and empathy.

For me, each project is not just a task but an opportunity for exploration. With every new endeavor, I encounter fresh adventures, challenges to overcome, mysteries waiting to be unraveled, propelling me forward in my quest to create impactful and user-centered designs.

Design school

In July 2021, I graduated with my Bachelor's in Architecture after five years of intense study. This period molded me into a versatile professional, equipped with a diverse skill set. Yet, beyond academics, it gifted me lifelong friendships, the experience of living in a new city, newfound confidence, and profound insights into life and design.

Arizona State University

I decided to pursue my masters in user experience (majoring in Human Computer Interaction) at Arizona State University. Thus my journey of moving to the States. I realized how the knowledge I had about design was so universal and cohesive. The courses here help me build up the knowledge for design in a digital space. The academic projects gave me an chance to at practical learning which I was more used too.

Meteor Studio

Around the end of first semester, I came across Meteor Studio (a engineering research laboratory that studies software and hardware systems for augmented reality and virtual reality leads the creative and technical aspects of the project) and I thought what they were doing was cool and interesting. Adapting immersive experiences to make education more effective and fun. This is innovation in making! I am glad I got to work with them for almost more than a year now. I got to apply UX principles in a spatial environment and got an experience in managing a small team, and I got to call myself an Lead designer.
